Further Price Reductions For Season Tickets

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United have confirmed more price cuts for another 10,000 of the Club's loyal season ticket holders

Newcastle United have confirmed more price cuts for another 10,000 of the Club's loyal season ticket holders at St. James' Park for the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League campaign.

Just weeks after confirming that many season ticket holders on eight, nine and ten-year price freeze deals could see a price reduction, the Club can now confirm options for supporters who are signed up to its three-year 'up-front' deal and existing supporters on one-year deals and half-season deals.

The next set of renewal forms are set to land on doormats from Monday (17th March) and for those on the three-year deal, there could be a saving of up to £103 in a single season.

Three-year deal

With the three-year deal expiring, those on the deal now have two attractive options - without the requirement to pay up front.

The first option is to enter into a five-year scheme paid by annual direct debit, which will see prices for category two areas of the stadium starting at just £475 per season.

While fans are unable to opt out of the five-year duration, the £475 adult price represents a saving of £103 on the standard price of £578 - that's a saving of £515 over five seasons.

Alternatively, those supporters can switch to the Club's existing ten-year price freeze deal, which will hold their season ticket price at £519 for a category two seat for the duration of the deal - a saving of £59 on a standard one-year season ticket next season.

One-year season tickets

Existing season ticket holders on one-year agreements also have two choices for the 2014/15 season as detailed in their renewal documents.

An adult who paid £602 for a category two seat this season will have the option to purchase a one-year ticket at a reduced price of £578 - a saving of £24 - for 2014/15.

The savings keep on coming with the second option, which is to revert to the seven years remaining on the Club's original ten-year price freeze deal.

Supporters with existing one-year season tickets can switch and guarantee an adult seat at £549 per season - saving £53 in 2014/15 alone.

Half-season tickets

Supporters who took advantage of this season's half-season ticket deal at just £64 for juniors can now switch to the Family Area - which holds 8,200 supporters at St. James' Park - for just £105 for the entire 2014/15 season.

An adult and junior season ticket can be secured for as little as £488 combined.

The cheapest season ticket for an adult and child at St. James' Park for 2014/15 will be just £417 combined (applicable to those on the ten-year price freeze deal).
