Newcastle United pair Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko are heading home after France were knocked out of the World Cup at the quarter-final stage on Friday.
Les Bleus went down 1-0 to Germany, with defender Mats Hummels' early header proving the difference at the Maracana.
Hummels superbly nodded home a Toni Kroos free-kick with just 12 minutes played, and Debuchy then survived a penalty appeal following his challenge on Miroslav Klose.
France improved as the game wore on but were unable to beat the German back line and impressive goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Debuchy played the full 90 minutes for his fourth appearance of the tournament, while Sissoko was an unused substitute.
