Tim Krul's Netherlands made the perfect start to their 2014 World Cup campaign, with a 5-1 victory over reigning champions Spain on Friday night.
Spain took the lead through a Xabi Alonso penalty, following a foul on Diego Costa, but the Dutch hit back just before half-time thanks to Robin van Persie's superb looping header.
And they took full control after the break, with Arjen Robben netting twice - either side of another Van Persie effort - and defender Stefan de Vrij also bundling home from close range.
Krul was an unused substitute for Holland, who will be delighted with their start to life in Group B. They are next in action on Wednesday (18th June) against Australia (5pm kick-off).
