Newcastle United confirm players who will not be offered new contracts

NEWCASTLE United have confirmed that five players will leave St. James' Park after the club decided not to offer them new contracts.

Titus Bramble, Craig Moore, Pavel Srnicek and Olivier Bernard will depart along with Oguchi Onyewu, whose loan move will not be made permanent.

Bramble joined the Magpies from Ipswich Town in July 2001 and made 147 starts and 10 substitute appearances for the club, scoring seven times.

Former Australian skipper Moore joined in July 2005 after leaving Borussia Moenchengladbach. He started 29 games for United with a further two appearances as a sub.

American international Onyewu arrived on loan from Standard Liege in January and started seven matches with four sub outings.

Czech goalkeeper Srnicek and French full-back Bernard both returned to Gallowgate during the 2006/07 season for their second stints with the club. Pavel made one start and one sub appearance but Bernard never figured at first team level all term.
