Five Covers For Cardiff Programme

Written by Newcastle Utd

To celebrate the upcoming World Cup, we have produced five different covers for Saturday's matchday programme

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

You may notice something different about the front of Saturday's official matchday programme.

Not only are some of United's stars wearing their national shirts, but also there are five different covers.

With the World Cup just 41 days away, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate those Magpies players who could be running out on the greatest stage of all in Brazil this summer.

Every supporter has their favourite player - or players - so for the first time, we have given you the choice of who you want to see on the front of your own issue, or you can choose to collect them all.

Fabricio Coloccini, Mathieu Debuchy, Tim Krul, Shola Ameobi and Cheick Tiote all adorn the cover.

Inside, we have interviews with the quintet about the World Cup, as well as exclusive chats with Loic Remy, Moussa Sissoko and Curtis Good, who could also be travelling to Brazil.

And that is not all, because as a thank you for purchasing a matchday programme, we are also giving you the chance to win one of the shirts featured, signed by the international star.

On page 35 of Saturday's edition, you will find a prize draw number. Next Friday (9th May) we will draw, at random, five of these numbers which correlate to each international shirt.

And the five winners will get their hands on a signed jersey which was worn during the photoshoot for Saturday's covers.

The lucky numbers - and how to claim the prizes - will be published on www.nufc.co.uk and on Twitter at @NUFC in due course.
