Fancy A Flutter Against Southampton?

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's Official Betting Partner Bet Butler provides Magpies fans with some tips ahead of Sunday's game at Southampton

Newcastle United head south on Sunday to take on Southampton, and Official Betting Partner Bet Butler has all the odds for the Premier League fixture.

The Magpies have hit something of a sticky patch, losing their last two games and taking just five points from a possible 15. The good news is that Newcastle have never lost three league games in a row since coming back into the top flight in the summer of 2010.

United look good value to bounce back and get the win at 3.1, but a small bet on correct score 2-2 at 15.0 is worth a cover.

The best trend is for there to be goals, with nine out of 12 Southampton matches seeing three goals or more, and eight seeing four goals or more.

In addition, 11 out of 12 Newcastle away games this season have had over 3.5 goals. These teams have kept just one clean sheet between them in 24 matches this term, so we expect plenty of goals.

Over 3.5 match goals can be backed at 2.76.

Looking at the first scorer market, the usual favourites are in place with Demba Ba at 6.5 and Papiss Cisse at 7.0. Once again, we prefer Ba to score last at 6.5, as he's done four times already this season.
