Fancy A Flutter Against Norwich?

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United's Official Betting Partner, Bet Butler, provides Magpies fans with some tips ahead of Sunday's match

Newcastle United entertain Norwich City at the Sports Direct Arena on Sunday (3pm kick-off), and our Official Betting Partner, Bet Butler, make the Magpies the favourites at 17/20, with Norwich out at 4/1

Demba Ba helped secure Newcastle's fifth point from four matches this season on Monday at Everton, and United will be hoping the Senegalese striker is fired up to take on the Canaries.

Ba is currently 5/1 to score first, with Papiss Cisse an almost certain starter at 4/1 to score first. Newcastle have opened the scoring in 13 of their last 20 home games, and you would have to say the breakthrough is likely to come from one of the Senegalese front men.

Newcastle have kept clean sheets in half their last 14 home games while Norwich have failed to score in half their last 10 away matches and are the league's lowest scorers this season along with QPR.

United should be the dominant team here, with Newcastle 2-1 at 8/1 and Newcastle 3-0 at 18/1 appealing ways to play the home win.

The Magpies have scored first in nine of their last ten games against bottom six sides and have scored in 17 of their last 20 home games. Norwich have conceded in all 20 of their recent away games.

Over 2.5 match goals can be backed at 4/5, with over 3.5 match goals a tasty 2/1.
