Newcastle United entertain Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday, and the Magpies are the outsiders for the lunchtime kick-off with best odds of 5.6 available on the home win.

Although the Magpies have lost five of their last six games, City's away form is hardly spectacular. The Blues have won just three of their games away from the Etihad, drawing four.

And Man City have not exactly been quick out of the blocks away from home either this season - they're yet to be in front at half-time, with six of seven away games being level at the break.

The Toon stand a good chance of upsetting City this Saturday, but with the draw a big danger, we would opt for Newcastle Draw No Bet at 4.0.

The half-time draw is also well worth an interest as Manchester City have been level at the break in nine of their last 12 games against teams currently in the bottom half.

City have kept it tight away from home, but there should still be goals in this game as Newcastle have kept only two clean sheets in the Premier League this season.

Fourteen of Newcastle's 17 games in December since 2008 have had at least three goals, as have 16 of City's last 21 games in December. So, over 2.5 goals looks a nice banker at 1.84.

Once again, Demba Ba looks the most likely first goalscorer for Newcastle at 9.0, with Papiss Cisse available at 10. Ba has the best record against top six sides since the start of last season, with four goals from 14 games.
