Newcastle United pair Yohan Cabaye and Mathieu Debuchy were both on target for France in a 6-0 friendly win over Australia on Friday night.
It was an easy night for Les Bleus at the Parc de Princes as they raced into a commanding lead.
Midfielder Cabaye scored their France's fourth of the night with only 29 minutes played, firing home from the edge of the area after meeting Franck Ribery's lay-off.
And they weren't done there, as with less than two minutes of the second half played, full-back Debuchy got his name on the scoresheet as well with a brilliant left-footed volley.
The Magpies were well represented in Paris, with Loic Remy starting the match for his first international appearance since March, and Moussa Sissoko coming off the bench as an 82nd-minute replacement for Cabaye.
Elsewhere, however, it was a quiet night for Newcastle's stars.
Captain Fabricio Coloccini was an unused substitute in Buenos Aires as Argentina came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over Peru in a World Cup qualifier.
And it was a similar story for goalkeepers Tim Krul and Rob Elliot, both watching from the bench. Krul's Holland thrased Hungary 8-1 in Amsterdam, while Elliot's Republic of Ireland went down 3-0 in Germany, both in World Cup qualification matches.
In under-21 action, midfielder Haris Vuckic played the full 90 minutes for Slovenia as they let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 in Denmark.
