Written by Newcastle Utd

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Next month's Barclays Premier League home game against Fulham has been moved back by 24 hours due to Newcastle's progression into the Europa League quarter-finals, it has been confirmed.

With the Magpies travelling to Benfica on Thursday, 4th April, it had been expected that the Cottagers clash - scheduled for two days later - would be moved.

And it has now been agreed that the fixture will take place on Sunday, 7th April with a 3pm kick-off.

The Club expect to be able to provide information on the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland, which could also move as a result of the second leg, early next week and nufc.co.uk will be first with the news.
