Club Statement: Play On The Pitch

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United would like to apologise to those teams whose Play on the Pitch slots have been affected by the weather

Newcastle United would like to apologise to those teams whose Play on the Pitch slots have been affected by the weekend's adverse weather conditions.

Following heavy rainfall on Saturday and Sunday, which made St. James' Park unplayable, a decision was made by the Club to postpone all fixtures on Monday and Tuesday to allow the surface time to recover.

Doing this would ensure that the remaining bookings for the rest of the week could be fulfilled, weather permitting.

Newcastle United have made every effort to provide support and assistance for those teams who have been affected, including offering new time slots, relocations for fixtures and full refunds.
