Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has today (Monday) had groin surgery in Paris.
The French international has made 13 appearance for the Magpies in all competitions this season, scoring twice - away at Sunderland and Liverpool in the Premier League.
He last featured in a 1-0 defeat against West Ham earlier this month, and has been out of action since.
