Club sponsor Wonga.com treated Newcastle fans and brothers Will and Stuart Parker to a tour of the Training Centre last week - conducted by Magpies legend Peter Beardsley.
Peter took Will and Stuart behind the scenes to get an insight into how the team prepares for a big game, offering anecdotes from the many years he spent at St. James' Park as a player. The lads also watched 30 minutes of Friday's training session in the build-up to the Barclays Premier League fixture against Southampton.
To round off the day, Will and Stuart presented Vurnon Anita with February's Player of the Month award. United's tenacious midfielder has been a key player this season and was in fine form throughout February, despite some disappointing results.
Will won the competition after entering on Wonga's NUFC fan site and was picked at random to receive the unforgettable experience.
