Blackpool are appealing to Newcastle fans not to attempt to bring smoke canisters into their Bloomfield Road stadium

Blackpool are appealing to Newcastle United fans not to attempt to bring smoke canisters into their Bloomfield Road stadium when the sides meet in pre-season action on Sunday (3pm kick-off).
A rigorous searching operation will be conducted outside the ground's turnstiles ahead of kick-off and anyone found trying to take a smoke canister or flare into the stadium, or discharging one inside, will be arrested and prosecuted.
Newcastle United will take strong action against any such individuals.
