Be Part Of Our Open Day

Written by Newcastle Utd

A handful of lucky Junior Magpies and Club Members will get the chance to share the St. James' Park pitch with the players on Tuesday

Newcastle United will be holding an exciting open training session at St. James' Park on Tuesday, 12th August - and you can be part of it.

We're looking for supporters to take part in a penalty shoot-out and crossbar challenge with the Magpies' first-team squad on the hallowed turf.

Junior Magpies can win the chance to show their penalty-taking prowess against one of the Club's goalkeepers - although as Tim Krul proved in the World Cup and Freddie Woodman demonstrated in the UEFA European Under-17 Championships, beating them from 12 yards is not easy.

Young fans can also be in with a chance of attending an exclusive signing session after the open training session.

To be entered for both competitions, answer the following question:

What country does Siem de Jong represent at international level?

Meanwhile a handful of adult Members will be able to take part in the crossbar challenge.

To enter, answer the following question:

How many penalties did Tim Krul save in the quarter-finals of the World Cup?

Please email [email protected] with your answer, name membership number and a contact telephone number.

Winners will be chosen at random from the correct entries and contacted in due course.
