Demba Ba has completed a move to Barclays Premier League rivals Chelsea after 18 months at Newcastle United.
The 27-year-old Senegalese striker has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Blues after they made an offer which triggered a release clause in Ba's contract.
He is Newcastle's leading scorer this season with 13 goals, adding to the 16 he scored last term in his only full season on Tyneside.
Ba will wear the number 29 shirt at Stamford Bridge and could make his first return to St. James' Park on Saturday, 2nd February.
