Anita: 'It's Just Like Watching Brazil'

Written by Newcastle Utd

Midfielder Vurnon Anita loves Newcastle's new third kit and believes the yellow and blue colours give it a "Brazilian swag"

By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

Like England, Holland are heading to next summer's World Cup - and Vurnon Anita could still be part of the Oranje squad which boards the plane for South America.

But before that, the midfielder - who has started five of United's seven Barclays Premier League matches this season - will sample the samba style by wearing the brand new Newcastle United third kit, available to buy in Club Stores and online from Thursday morning.

He was one of the first Magpies players to wear the Puma strip as he helped to model it ahead of the launch and loved the yellow shirt, blue shorts and white socks.

"I think it's very nice," he told nufc.co.uk after pulling it on for the first time.

"It's got a little Brazilian swag to it and it's bright, so we can scare the opponents. That's a good thing.

"It feels very nice and it fits well. I'll be very happy to wear it."
