And Our Survey Says...

Two fans have won signed shirts after taking part in a survey about the overall matchday experience at St. James' Park

Two lucky Newcastle United supporters have been rewarded with signed shirts for taking part in surveys to help the club improve its matchday experience.

During the summer, the Magpies ran two surveys - one for supporters who chose not to renew their season tickets and the other a general end of season survey aimed at discovering what fans liked and disliked about watching games at St. James' Park.

A combined 95.4 per cent of supporters in the end of season survey felt the matchday experience was good or very good, with 96 per cent generally satisfied with the time taken to enter and exit the stadium.

And 88.6 per cent of those who took the survey said that they were happy with the Club's current ownership - but there was also feedback about the toilet facilities and food and drink which the Club will take on board.

In the season tickets survey, 92.5 per cent rated the matchday experience as good or very good and 97.2 per cent would consider another season ticket in the future.

Fans gave a variety of reasons, from affordability to a change in circumstances, for not renewing their ticket.

But 86.1 per cent said they still planned to attend games next season by purchasing single match tickets.

The Club will be looking at all the results and will look to address it where possible for future seasons.

From each survey, one respondent was chosen at random to win a signed shirt and they were Mark Simmons and George Walker.
