Sammy Ameobi has been offered a new contract at St. James' Park, but four other Magpies will leave the Club

Newcastle United forward Sammy Ameobi has been offered a new contract at St. James' Park.

The 23-year-old, who sees his current deal expire at the end of June, made 25 appearances in the Barclays Premier League last season.

While Ameobi has been offered a new deal, three other players who are also out of contract will leave the Club when their contracts expire on 30th June.

Goalkeeper Jak Alnwick, striker Adam Campbell and defender Remie Streete will all be seeking pastures new next season, while Facundo Ferreyra returns to Shakhtar Donetsk after completing his season-long loan deal on Tyneside.
