Newcastle United Under-18s rounded off their campaign with a heavy defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday.
Former United youngster Bobby Clark put the Reds in front inside the opening ten minutes before Harvey Blair made it 2-0 to the visitors shortly after.
Just after the restart, Luke Chambers’ free kick put the game beyond the young Magpies before Blair’s second of the contest made it 4-0 just before the hour.
And Lewis Koumas added further gloss to the scoreline with a header ten minutes from time to wrap up an emphatic 5-0 win for his side.
The result means United finish the 2021/22 season bottom of the Under-18 Premier League’s northern section.
