Newcastle United Under-18s suffered a heavy 13-0 defeat against their Manchester City counterparts at the City of Football Academy on Saturday.
Newcastle's youngsters conceded seven goals in the first-half of their Under-18 Premier League North clash, conceding in the opening 15 minutes following strikes from Kian Breckin, Will Dickson and Nico O'Reilly.
Carlos Borges' first-half brace extended City's advantage before O'Reilly's second goal of the afternoon and Josh Adam's strike on the stroke of half-time left Peter Ramage's side stunned.
Dickson notched his brace within 60 seconds of the restart and after Dire Medube netted 12 minutes after the restart, Dickson completed his hat-trick shortly after the hour mark to take City into double figures.
Newcastle's teenagers suffered further blows through strikes from Adam and Matty Whittingham before O'Reilly completed a hat-trick of his own in the closing stages, rounding off a disappointing afternoon for United's under-18s
