United's under-18s beat their Brighton counterparts on Saturday
The Alnwick-born teenager has been pressed into service in a more advanced role in recent weeks and he opened the scoring against the Seagulls at Little Benton.
He fired home after 34 minutes following a corner, following on from his strike at Southampton last week.
Brighton equalised in the 68th minute when Max Sanders guided the ball beyond Otto Huuhtanen.
But with six minutes left to play, United scored what proved to be the winner as Mackenzie Heaney set up Danish striker Elias Sorensen to score his first goal at this level.
That made it two wins, a draw and a defeat for Newcastle in their four Under-18 Premier League group three play-off fixtures.
With no game next weekend, their next fixture is at home to Wolves on Saturday, 22nd April (kick-off 11am).
Newcastle United Under-18s: Otto Huuhtanen, Craig Spooner, Gideon Adu-Peprah, Daniel Lowther (Yannick Aziakonou 71), Isaac Gamblin, Owen Gallacher (Jack Robson 84), Mo Sangare, Kelland Watts, Mackenzie Heaney, Elias Sorensen
