Steve Bruce will be without a handful of key players for Saturday's Premier League trip to Watford as the Magpies aim to pick up their first three points of the season at Vicarage Road.
Joe Willock, who was injured in training this week, and Jamaal Lascelles, who suffered a thigh injury against Leeds last time out, have joined Callum Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, Freddie Woodman and Paul Dummett in the treatment room. Martin Dúbravka also remains sidelined, although he has returned to the training pitches in recent days.
Karl Darlow made his first appearance of the season against Leeds while Bruce might consider a change of shape at Vicarage Road after a tactical switch against Leeds paid dividends. Watford's squad includes former Magpies Moussa Sissoko, Danny Rose, Rob Elliot and Dan Gosling.
Midfielder Sean Longstaff, who has started United's last four games, spoke to NUFC TV ahead of the weekend.
