When Newcastle United and Norwich City met at St. James' Park at the end of November, the Magpies were bottom of the Premier League with only six points, three points less than the Canaries. Yet Eddie Howe's revitalised side travel to Carrow Road in 11th position, 19 points ahead of City, who now find themselves at the foot of the table and in desperate need of a victory on Saturday to keep their hopes of avoiding relegation alive.
The Magpies aren't yet mathematically safe, but reached the 40 point mark with their third successive win against Crystal Palace in midweek. Howe has hinted that he could make changes for United's third match in a week, but Joelinton could make his 100th Premier League appearance for the club while Jacob Murphy will be hoping to line up against his former side.
