Premier League
- Kickoff:
- 8th April 2022 8:00 PM
Friday night's match is the 102nd between the two clubs, and the 92nd in the league. In the 13 Premier League games played, each team has scored in every match and nine of them have finished in draws.
But with Newcastle unbeaten at home in the top flight in 2022, and coming into the fixture on the back of three successive away defeats, Eddie Howe's side will be looking for all three points against the visitors, who started the day in eighth.
Wolves will be without the injured Rúben Neves and suspended Raúl Jiménez while United will make a late call on Joe Willock, who has a knee complaint, and Howe has also had some illness in the camp to contend with.
The United head coach could well hand a first start at St. James' Park to Brazil international Bruno Guimarães, who spoke to NUFC TV this week.
