The Norwich squad contains some faces which will be familiar to Magpies fans, with goalkeeper Tim Krul having played a crucial role in helping to secure their return to the top flight last term. The Dutchman was a popular figure at St. James' Park, making almost 200 appearances for the club during a 12-year spell.

And centre back Grant Hanley, who spent the 2016/17 season on Tyneside, is also a key part of Daniel Farke's squad. The Scotland defender won the Championship with Newcastle, before repeating the feat twice after his move to Carrow Road.

Magpies head coach Steve Bruce also played for the Canaries between 1984 and 1987, in between spells at Gillingham and Manchester United.
