Newcastle United are due to face champions Manchester City in a 2pm (GMT) kick-off at St. James' Park on Sunday - with the start of the game brought forward by 15 minutes at the request of Sky Sports, who are broadcasting the match live in the UK.

The Magpies lost at Liverpool last time out but performed well enough to go into this match with some room for optimism, even though City are top of the table and demolished Leeds United 7-0 in their previous outing. 

Joe Willock certainly feels that Eddie Howe's men are ready for the challenge, with the midfielder speaking to NUFC TV ahead of the fixture. Supporters who are attending the game are advised that they must complete a Covid status declaration before arriving at St. James' Park.
