Newcastle United are aiming to win six successive matches at St. James' Park for the first time since Sir Bobby Robson's Magpies achieved the feat in 2003/04 - but face a Crystal Palace side still hurting after losing to Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday.
Patrick Vieira's side have enjoyed an impressive campaign but Eddie Howe's men would climb above them with another three points on home soil. United have no fresh injury concerns, although Ryan Fraser is likely to miss out again with the hamstring problem he suffered against Wolves earlier in the month.
The Eagles will be able to select key man Conor Gallagher again, after the Chelsea loanee was ineligible to face his parent club on Sunday, while Vicente Guaita is likely to replace Jack Butland in goal.
Ahead of the game, Jonjo Shelvey spoke to NUFC TV.
