Federico Fernández will miss Newcastle United's clash with Liverpool (kick-off 8pm GMT) with a thigh injury, but Paul Dummett is the only other confirmed absentee for the game at Anfield as Eddie Howe's side look to end the Reds' seven-game winning run in all competitions.

Jürgen Klopp has Roberto Firmino back in contention, but Divock Origi is likely to miss out for the home side, who go into the fixture in second place in the Premier League.

Defender Jamal Lewis has started each of the Magpies' last three matches, and the 23-year-old Northern Ireland international spoke to NUFC TV ahead of Thursday night's game.
