Leading scorer Callum Wilson has told his team-mates to forget about the uncertainty over who their next head coach will be and the prospect of a transformative January transfer window, and focus on getting their first victory of the season on Saturday.

Newcastle travel to Brighton & Hove Albion, who have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign - unlike the Magpies, who sit in 19th position ahead of the weekend.

However, United have no new injury worries and Wilson, who has scored four goals so far this term including the equaliser at Crystal Palace two weeks ago, told NUFC TV this week that "three points are a must" against the Seagulls if they are to begin climbing away from the bottom three.
