Yedlin out to blunt Blades
DeAndre Yedlin has described Tuesday night's trip to the Premier League's bottom side, Sheffield United, as a "six-point game."
The Blades have yet to win a match in the top flight so far this season and are desperate to end that miserable record, but the Magpies are without a victory in their last five league outings so need the three points too.
And - in an in-depth interview where he also talked about the mentality switch which has seen him force his way back into Steve Bruce's plans in recent weeks - USA international Yedlin told NUFC TV: "It's a team that's at the bottom of the table - it's a six-point game.
"We see how many points they have and they obviously haven't had the best season but the thing about watching their games is they're in every game, they're close every game, so it's not something we can take lightly. If we go into it lightly then we're definitely going to be in for a massive challenge so we've just got to stay on our game.
"We haven't had the best results lately but I think our performances have got better and better so it's about building on those and hopefully we can get a result."
