Joe Willock is under no illusions about how important the next few games are for Newcastle United - starting with Saturday night's visit of Wolves.

The England under-21 international scored on his debut as the Magpies beat Southampton in their last home match, but since then United have lost at Chelsea and Manchester United, allowing third-bottom Fulham to gain ground on Steve Bruce's side.

"They're trying to pull us back into the relegation battle but I think if we get points out of these next few games, we put that to bed," Willock told NUFC TV ahead of the match.

"That's what we're looking to do - we're looking to fight together and I think we can do that. We have more than enough depth in the squad and we're capable of doing that."
