Krafth calls for repeat performance as Magpies take on Foxes
Emil Krafth believes Newcastle United must carry on where they left off at the end of 2020 when they start the new year against Leicester City on Sunday (kick-off 2.15pm GMT).
The Magpies were impressive as they drew 0-0 with champions and league leaders Liverpool last time out - and face another difficult test against the Foxes, who start 2021 in third place.
And Krafth told NUFC TV: "We were struggling before (Liverpool), the last four or five games, so we can grow a lot of confidence from the last game and hopefully we can take that with us to the upcoming games, because we know it's a busy schedule and there's a lot of big games coming up.
"We have to put another performance like we did against Liverpool. I think Leicester are a little bit like Liverpool - they want to have the ball and try to play, so I just think we have to - like we did against Liverpool - press a little bit higher and try to steal the ball a little bit higher up the pitch, and try to break them down from there."
