We Are Recruiting:

Player Development Coach (U23 Lead - Professional Phase)

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our Category 1 Academy at Newcastle United, to fulfil a crucial role in supporting our player talent pipeline to first team football.

We want to grow our own talent and are looking for someone to take our U23 development squad forward, using our Academy playing and coaching philosophy. You’ll be accountable for the day to day management and coaching of the U23 squad players, working with the multi-disciplinary team of staff to create an elite performance environment in which all players can develop.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online psychometric test during w/c 6th January 2020.

The assessment and selection process will comprise of 2 stages:

  • A presentation and panel interview during w/c 13th January; those successful at this stage will then be invited to:
  • A second interview and observation of a practical coaching session.
