Season tickets 2016-17

Newcastle United have confirmed that all season ticket prices for the 2016/17 season at St. James' Park will be reduced by 10% across the board.

If you have an existing one-season, half-season and five-game season ticket you are now able to renew online, over the phone or via our Matchday Box Office. We'll reserve your existing seat until Friday 8th July.



Supporters on our long-term deals will receive the 10% reduction on the price we wrote out to you with in February. We'll be in touch soon with details of your new price, and how we'll manage refunds or reductions in your monthly payment.

  An adult in our category 2 seating, will be paying £520 instead of £578 in 2015/16. Combined with the additional four fixtures, this brings the price down from £30 per-game to under £23.
      Prices in the Family Area are £68 for under-18s and £329 for adults. This means a per-game price of £3 for under-18s and just over £14 for adults.       Juniors across the board will see significant reductions from their 2015/16 price.   


How To Renew

    You can now renew your existing Season Ticket online here.  
    To renew by phone, call our Box Office on 0844 372 1892. If you want to pay monthly for your Season Ticket, you'll need to complete a Direct Debit form and return this by post or in person.  
    To renew in person, visit our Matchday Box Office located in the Milburn Stand. The Matchday Box Office will be open Monday to Friday from 10am - 5pm, and Saturday from 9am until further notice.

If you're renewing your existing ticket and staying in the same seat, you don't need to fill in an application form. If you want to request a seat move, or would prefer to renew your Season Ticket by post, you can download a renewal application here.






Q "I'm on a multi-year plan. Do I need to do anything?"
A No. Unless you have previously notified us of your wish to cancel, your season ticket will be automatically renewed.

Q "I had a one-year season ticket/half-season ticket last season. Will
it be automatically renewed?"

A No. You can renew online, by phone or in person. If you haven't renewed by 15th June 2016, we'll write to you with full details on how you can keep your seat for 2016/17.
If you renew by 7th July 2016, you can keep your previous seat. From 8th July, all seats will be available on general sale.

Q "I haven't had a season ticket before but I'd like one. How do I purchase one?"
A Season tickets can be purchased by calling 0844 372 1892 (calls cost 7p per min plus your phone company's access charge) online at, or in person at the Box Office at St. James' Park. The general sale period starts on Monday 6th June 2016.
Any existing season tickets not renewed by 7th July will become available from Friday 8th July.

Q "If I buy a new season ticket, can I sit with friends/family?"
A Yes. Please call us or pop in to the stadium Box Office with details of where you would like to sit and we will locate the nearest available seat.

Q "I want to buy extra season tickets. Can I do this?"
A Yes, please email us at with your supporter number and the details of what you would like to purchase.

Q "Can I have more than one ticket in my name?"

A Yes. If you qualify for a concession, you are unable to have the discount applied on more than one ticket.

Q "Is my season ticket transferrable?"
Yes, if you are in a general stand area. Please note that there may be a fee to do this if the season has started. If you are a Platinum Bond holder, there is a £25 fee for this.

Q "Can I upgrade my ticket?"
A Yes you can. The price may vary from match to match. if you are in the family area, you can upgrade a maximum of three times in one season.


Q "Can I change my seat?"

A Yes. Please email us at and include your supporter number, existing seat details and where you would like to move. If requesting once the season has already started, a £25 fee will apply.

Q "I can't access my usual seat due to an injury. Can I sit somewhere else?"
A Yes, we would be happy to relocate you to a seat which is suitable to your needs, subject to availability. Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to kick-off.


Q "What method of payment do you accept?"

A We accept cash, credit/debit card and cheque. You can also pay by Direct Debit monthly or annually. For existing season ticket holders (multi-year), the Direct Debits cheme runs from March to February. New season card payments usually start from the month in which you purchase the ticket. Annual direct debits are paid in March.

Q "How do I set up a Direct Debit?"
A Please download the form from our website and mail it or bring it in to the Box Office.

Q "I live outside the UK. Can I set a Direct Debit up?"
A Yes, but it must be paid using a UK bank account.

Q "Can I set up a direct debit by phone or online?"
A Unfortunately not. For security reasons, we require an original copy of the signed Direct Debit form.

Q "I'm on a ten-year deal and I've heard about the 10% discount. Will I
get a refund and when will it be?"

A Yes, you will qualify for either a refund or a smaller monthly fee in-line with the changes. We will write to you shortly to confirm your new price and details of how this will be processed.

Q "I can't a[end a particular game. Can I sell my ticket to someone else?"
A This is not permiced as per our terms and conditions. The ticket can be used by family or friends, providing they qualify for any corresponding concession or pay the difference.


Q "Will I need a new season card to access the ground?"

A No, please keep last season's card if you are renewing. If you have
moved seats or concession bands, we will send you a new card.

Q "I've lost/forgotten my season card. Can it be replaced?"
A Yes. There is a £5 charge for a new card or £2.50 for a paper single-match ticket.


Q "What are your concession categories?"
A We offer discounts for ages under-18, 18-21 and 65+, as well as full-time students (aged between 18-21) and disabled supporters.

Q "I qualify for a concession. Can I use and adult ticket?"
A Yes, this is permitted. However, adults wishing to use a concessionary ticket must notify
the Box Office and pay the relevant difference.

Q "Is there a limit on adults in the Family Area?"
A Yes. Adults are unable to buy tickets in this area without a child. To maintain it as an area dedicated to families, there here is a maximum ratio of two adults per child permitted.

Q "I have a junior ticket in the Family Area. Do I have to relocate when I reach 18?
A Yes, unless you are sat with a family member who is under 18 and there are no more than two adults with one child.


Q "Does my season ticket cover cup games?"

A No, a season ticket covers all 23 home league fixtures only.

Q "Will I get priority for cup and away games?"

A Yes. Season ticket holders have the first priority period when away
and cup games go on sale.
If there is high demand, these tickets will be sold to season ticket holders with the highest loyalty points total first (one loyalty point is credited to your account per away ticket purchase).
