Born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, but a Turkish youth international, Daniel Tan Barlaser is a tall winger who loves to dribble and is capable of going past players with some ease.
Happiest on the right hand side of midfield, the former Swalwell Swifts player attended Charles Thorp Comprehensive School and has been with Newcastle since the age of nine.
A Magpies supporter, he is a fan of Hatem Ben Arfa but also admires Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Won the Montaigu Tournament with Turkey in 2013, beating an England under-16 side featuring Club colleagues Kyle Cameron and Adam Armstrong in the final.
