A product of the famous Wallsend Boys' Club, Jonathyn is a technically-gifted forward with a good footballing brain - rather like his hero, Dennis Bergkamp.

He's in his fourth year with the Magpies, who he supported as a youngster, and made his under-18s debut in the final league game of last season.

Quinn is a big fan of Alan Shearer and Papiss Cisse and hopes to one day follow in their footsteps of wearing the number nine shirt for the Magpies.

He's made a decent start, making his under-21s debut against Reading in January 2013 before netting his first goal at that level against Stoke the following month.

Quinn also scored twice in three games at the Torneo di Viareggio in 2013.
