A product of the famous Wallsend Boys' Club, Jonathyn is a technically-gifted forward with a good footballing brain - rather like his hero, Dennis Bergkamp.

Quinn is also a big fan of Alan Shearer and Papiss Cisse and hopes to one day follow in their footsteps of wearing the number nine shirt for the Magpies.

He's made a decent start, making his under-21s debut against Reading in January 2013 before netting his first goal at that level against Stoke the following month.

And he hit the headlines in 2013/14 when he scored a hat-trick against Sunderland in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.
