Midfielder Colback has missed the last three games with a knee injury sustained in last month's Tyne-Wear derby, while striker Cisse hasn't started a top flight fixture since the middle of September - ten weeks ago.
The pair replace Cheick Tiote, who is nursing a groin injury, and Aleksandar Mitrovic, who drops down to the substitutes' bench, and those are the only two changes from last weekend's disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Leicester City.
United are expected to line up in a 4-4-2 formation, with Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Rob Elliot behind a back four of Daryl Janmaat, Chancel Mbemba, captain Fabricio Coloccini and Paul Dummett.
And in the final third, Ayoze Perez will play just off Cisse, who netted in this fixture last season.
Crystal Palace (4-2-3-1): Wayne Hennessey; Joel Ward, Scott Dann, Damien Delaney (c), Pape Souare; Yohan Cabaye, James McArthur; Wilfried Zaha, Jason Puncheon, Yannick Bolasie; Connor Wickham
Substitutes: Julian Speroni, Martin Kelly, Mile Jedinak, Joe Ledley, Chung-yong Lee, Patrick Bamford, Marouane Chamakh
