Alan Pardew admitted that he still did not accept referee Mike Jones' decision to disallow Cheick Tiote's 25-yard strike against Manchester City when he spoke to nufcTV after the full-time whistle.

The Magpies boss was pleased with his side's display but believes that luck has gone against United since last month's 5-1 win over Stoke.

And he felt that the controversial incident in the 34th minute ruined the day for Newcastle against one of the best teams in the Barclays Premier League.
