By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

On Thursday night, Newcastle United's Assistant Manager John Carver returned to his old junior team, Montagu and North Fenham Boys Club, to deliver a coaching session.

He was joined by Paul Dummett, who played for Red House Farm as a youngster but like Carver understands the importance of such teams at the grassroots level of the game.

Montagu and North Fenham Boys Club is in desperate need of improved facilities for its players and as this nufcTV video shows, Magpies boss Alan Pardew has already put his hand in his pocket to help out.
