nufcTV: Pardew - 'First Half Wasn't Good Enough'

Despite almost completing a stunning second half comeback, Alan Pardew admitted that a draw would have been "fortuitous" after a poor first 45 minutes at Goodison Park.

But as much as he was left frustrated with the defensive display in the first half, he did see some positive signs after the break.

Pardew challenged his side to "work like they've never worked before" at Cardiff next weekend and praised Yohan Cabaye and Loic Remy when he spoke to nufcTV.
