Steve Harper left Newcastle United after 20 years this summer but he was back at St. James' Park on Tuesday morning to announce plans for a star-studded charity fixture against AC Milan Glorie - a legends team made up of former players from the Italian giants.
A Newcastle United XI will provide the opposition on Wednesday, 11th September for a 7pm kick-off and the match will raise funds for the Great North Children's Hospital, the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Newcastle United Foundation.
The likes of Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand, Faustino Asprilla and Rob Lee will be in black and white and will take on stars including Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi and Andriy Shevchenko at the Magpies' stadium. For more information, click here.
Harper spoke to nufcTV about the match and his new challenge with Barclays Premier League new boys Hull City.
