Friday morning saw United train at St. James' Park ahead of this weekend's trip to Queens Park Rangers.

And a welcome spectator was on the touchline - Ryan Taylor. Ruled out for the whole of next season with another cruciate injury, the versatile Liverpudlian was greeted warmly by his teammates and staff as they went through their warm-up.

United were also boosted by the return to training of Italian international full-back Davide Santon and French playmaker Sylvain Marveaux, who have been sidelined by respective hamstring and groin injuries.

It remains to be seen whether the pair will be involved at Loftus Road on Sunday, but one man who will definitely be there is Club Photographer Ian Horrocks, who snapped this gallery of images from training.
