Pic Special: Newcastle U21s 1 Bolton U21s 2

Newcastle's ten-match unbeaten Barclays Under-21 Premier League run was ended by Bolton Wanderers on Friday - but the Magpies were still crowned Tier Two champions.

Brandon Miele gave United the lead with a fine strike but the Trotters - the only side able to catch Newcastle - equalised just before half time through Sanmi Odelusi.

A well-taken penalty from Adam Blakeman then gave Bolton the lead but Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's side still clinched the title on goal difference and will face Everton in a play-off match next week.
