Pic Special: Bring On The Baggies

United were back on the training pitch on Tuesday morning, as preparations begin for this weekend's Barclays Premier League fixture away at West Bromwich Albion.

Manager Alan Pardew and his coaching staff put the Magpies' squad through their paces at the Club's Benton headquarters, with a warm-up followed by possession work, a match and finally a shuttle run exercise.

Academy goalkeeper Freddie Woodman was involved in the session, alongside Rob Elliot and Steve Harper, while there was also the welcome sight of captain Fabricio Coloccini and youngster Haris Vuckic continuing their comebacks from respective back and knee injuries, as the pair took part in a number of running drills.

And Club Photographer Ian Horrocks captured it all for this exclusive gallery of images.
