Pic Special: Terrace Bar Opening

The new Terrace bar at St. James' Park officially opened on Tuesday night, with Bob Moncur being joined by Ryan Taylor, Tim Krul, James Perch and Steven Taylor as well as Managing Director Derek Llambias as a star-studded event.

Following a £300,000 redevelopment, a former ticket office has been converted into a stylish bar which will be open on home matchdays as well as available for private parties.

With dozens of television screens, the 700-capacity venue is the ideal place to watch live football and the opening boasted fire-eaters, live snakes and plenty more.

The players were also interviewed by compere Justin Lockwood and members of the press, including BBC Newcastle's Mick Lowes, who broadcast live from the bar for Total Sport.

So there was plenty for Club Photographer Ian Horrocks to focus on, and he did exactly that as he brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
