Friday afternoon saw Newcastle's under-21 side stroll to victory against Stoke in a Barclays Under-21 Premier League game staged at United's training centre.

Massadio Haidara, making only his second appearance in black and white, opened the scoring with his first goal for the club before Adam Campbell made it 2-0.

Academy starlet Jonathyn Quinn then added a third on his full debut at this level while Michael Richardson and Alex Nicholson made their return from long-term injuries.
