Pic Special: Newcastle 3 Chelsea 2

The reigning European champions came to St. James' Park on Saturday - and were beaten 3-2 by a Moussa Sissoko-inspired Newcastle United.

Demba Ba made his first return to Tyneside but by the time he came off with a broken nose, Jonas Gutierrez had given the Magpies a first-half lead.

Frank Lampard and Juan Mata turned the game around, but Sissoko slotted home after Yoan Gouffran's shot was only parried by Petr Cech to set up an end-to-end last 20 minutes.

And just as the game seemed to be heading for a draw, Sissoko drilled home in the 90th minute to raise the roof. Capturing the action for nufc.co.uk were Ian Horrocks and Serena Taylor.
