Pic Special: A Fab Day's Training

Friday morning saw the good news continue on Tyneside as Fabricio Coloccini agreed to remain at Newcastle United until at least the end of the season.

Following hot on the footsteps of new additions Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Yoan Gouffran and Massadio Haidara, who arrived this week from Montpellier, Bordeaux and Nancy respectively, Coloccini has also committed his immediate future to the Club following reports that he wanted to return home to Argentina.

United's skipper trained as normal with his Magpies teammates at their Benton headquarters, while Haidara was put through his paces for the first time under the watch of manager Alan Pardew and his coaching staff.

And capturing it all for this exclusive gallery of images was Club Photographer Ian Horrocks.
