On Thursday evening, Massadio Haidara became Newcastle United's fourth signing of the January transfer window after agreeing a five-and-a-half year contract following negotiations with his former club, Nancy.

He underwent the majority of his medical on Wednesday before completing the rest the following day and nufc.co.uk were granted exclusive access from the moment he arrived at the Training Centre for the first time to the moment he proudly held up the black and white shirt with his name and number 19 on the back.
